Erik & Kate

What a dream wedding. I really hope you can tell from watching, how much we enjoyed this process. Lucie, Lood and I all flew up to Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga for 3 days to shoot Erik and Kate’s wedding at Chitwa Chitwa, a stylish and luxurious safari lodge situated in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, with the most unique of settings overlooking the largest perennial lake in the 63,000 ha, Big 5 game reserve. Chitwa Chitwa was awarded the World Luxury Hotel Awards: Best Game Lodge 2012.

I must mention the rockstar photographer, Stefan Du Plessis who worked with us to bring this story to life. Stefan is one of the most dedicated and professional photographers we have ever had the pleasure of working with, and look forward to many more collaborations together (apart from becoming great friends). Just over to his blog for lots for info.

Thank you to Erik and Kate. We are so privileged to have been trusted by you to make this film of your most special day.

We really have loved the opportunity. And to hear your feedback gives us such incredible reward:

“Dear Trevor, Lucie and Lood, we’ve just seen (7 times and still counting ;-)) your highlights film of one of our many happy moments in life: 20.12.2012. It’s pretty indescribable what you guys have done; it’s not just an amazingly beautiful film, you’ve shown us the immense happiness and joyfulness that we often feel, but have never seen with our own eyes. You’ve created a true piece of art, through which people who weren’t there or even don’t know us closely, fully empathize the energy and emotions that we’ve felt that day. Thank you deeply for making this post-20.12.2012-enjoyment possible, you’ve made a difference! Warmest regards Kate and Erik”
